Project Description
NousNav is an ongoing project led by Dr. Alex Golby at Brigham and Women’s Hospital to build and disseminate a low-cost neuronavigation system for brain surgery.
The video tutorial aims to provide end-users with step-by-step guidance on how to set up and use NousNav.
Objective
- Objective A. Review and curate the current version of NousNav video tutorial
- Objective B. Identify the section of the tutorial that needs to be upgraded to the latest version of NousNav
Approach and Plan
- Review the current raw demonstration clips
- Review the draft voice-over
- Organize the raw demonstrations clips into sections that facilitate easy access
Progress and Next Steps
- Reviewed the current raw operating room demonstration clips and associated screen captures.
- Reviewed the drafted scripts for voice-over, making adjustments to account for updates in the software package and hardware.
- Recorded updated surgical planning tutorials showcasing each step of the planning workflow.
- Organized the raw demonstration clips and scripts to facilitate easy access.
- Incorperated similar language from the user guide into the tutorial scripts to ease learning curve of terminology.
